I'm a hobby photographer based in Skåne, Sweden, and I've been photographing since 2000.
I originally studied photography part time through a distance course with the London School of Photography in 1994, specialising in people photography and environmental portraiture. I was born and raised in South London and moved to Sweden in 2000. After ten years in Stockholm, I eventually settled in Skåne.
My photography is primarily about people and the beauty of the female form. I enjoy creating photographs that make the model feel beautiful, feminine and empowered by her own beauty.
For me, a photoshoot is a collaboration. We discuss ideas and concepts beforehand, but the model has genuine input into what we do.
I can provide direction when it's wanted or needed, but I also want models to bring their own ideas, personality and creativity to the shoot. We can start with a rough plan and see where it takes us.
Most importantly, it shouldn't be serious or boring. I like to keep things relaxed, have fun and hopefully laugh quite a lot along the way.
Everyone has different boundaries and things they may feel uncomfortable with, and that's completely fine.
We can work around whatever concerns you have. That might mean keeping your identity hidden, choosing particular poses or compositions, cropping an image differently, or editing out something you're unhappy with.
You have a say in what we shoot and how the finished images are presented. The aim is to create photographs you actually love, without pressure to do anything you're not comfortable with.
I'm always looking for models to collaborate with, whether you're experienced or completely new to modelling.
I work with models in Skåne, Stockholm and Denmark, depending on the project.
If you have an idea you'd like to explore, or simply like the look of my work and would like to collaborate, I'd love to hear from you.
Outside photography, I'm also a writer and amateur music producer. I have three cats, which probably explains a few things about me.
I also raise money for cat shelters. I normally walk between 5 and 10 km a day, and three times a year I take on marathon length walks to raise money for cat shelters.
Photography, writing and music are all creative outlets for me, but I enjoy the process as much as the finished result. I think that attitude carries over into my photography too. A shoot should be creative, collaborative and, above all, enjoyable.
If you'd like to collaborate on a project, I'd love to hear from you. Tell me a little about yourself and what you have in mind.
